Behind the Scene
I seriously had a really fun time doing this last artwork , after postponing for almost a week to get this magazine cover done ( because I thought indesign would be really hard) I finally could finish this in 3 hours. The challenge was to resizing and repositioning the picture (because it is totally different with the common way to crop, resize and adjust the position in another adobe software) but now i am getting use to it. I also spend 1 hour to browse and search for an idea about magazine cover design, but it takes longer time to finally found this picture because I want a simple and bright color background, unfortunately it was really hard because most of the pictures that I got were very crowded.
After I got several items that I wanted to use for my magazine cover, I put them all in one folder and start working on adobe indesign. Unsuspectedly, the most challenging part was about the typography, I was firstly used "Arial Black" and apply it to all the words, but it looked horrible then I tried to search for the most suitable font and yeah I finally fully understand the importance of typography in any design or artwork, it does give a huge difference. My favorite part is definitely the top part of the magazine, I think it is different than another title and subtitle magazine cover design. Overall, I had a really great time doing this, and I'm quite happy with the final outcome.
